Lizzie Worsdell is an award-winning actress and producer who works across, theatre, film, tv and audio. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School part-time as a child before being chosen to become a member of the National Youth Theatre in the UK. She won a scholarship to, and later gained an Associate’s degree from, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, and then went on to get a Masters in Filmmaking (Distinction) from Raindance in London.
Lizzie has a strong theatre background and has appeared on stages across both London and Los Angeles. A career highlight was playing the lead role of Irma Griese in Angel: Nightmare of the Holocaust at L.A.'s Crown City Theatre for which she won rave reviews.
She founded production company Eldub Films and works as Supervising Producer at Big Finish Productions. She made her producing debut on the short film 'Disarm' starring Sophia Myles. Several of her films have been successful on the festival circuit including BAFTA and BIFA qualifying 'The Carer' directed by Game of Thrones’ Amrita Acharia and starring Industry’s Priyanga Burford.
Alongside her film work she has produced several audio dramas including 'Doctor Who: The Third Doctor Adventures' 'Vam PD' starring Mara Wilson, Warren Brown and Juliet Landau and 'Young Bond.' Her short film ‘Eve’ directed by Jordon Stevens has received over 250k views on YouTube.
Lizzie is passionate about making female-centred work and representing a side of society that isn’t typically shown on screen.
